"Colours Of Women"

"Colours Of Women" is a contempory painting symbolizing the main common colours of our skin. I gave it a oriental theme to give it balance to the red used for the background. The symbol in the bottom right corner is the Japanese symbol for woman. 80cm x 100cm, acrylic medium on canvas.

  2. Can't wait to see what you come up with Vesna, mine is going to be hung and exhibited at the Old Warehouse Gallery here in Maryborough Qld as part of a monthly theme for march "Colours Of Women". I'm also hoping that I will get my name up on the Art Society Inc website now that I'm a member, and it might even get me recognised (fingers crossed).

  4. Thanks Jade, but it's actually gold highlights the photo makes it look yellow which is sad because it looks much better in real life.

  5. Hi, love the design and composition in your painting. Very unusual subject. works well start with the dark and leading back to the white. The cherry blossoms works well leading the eye in.
