This is a portrait of my other half. I took a secret photograph of him one evening just after he got home from work as he was relaxing in the back sunroom. I then decided to do a painting from the photo as I thought it had so much character. 30cm x 40cm Acrylic medium.

The Regent Bowerbird.

Here is some beautiful Australian wild life - The Regent Bowerbird. I have painted the male species in it's mature and immature form. These guys are found in rainforest areas from central NSW up to QLD. Acrylic medium on 50cm x 40cm canvas.

"Colours Of Women"

"Colours Of Women" is a contempory painting symbolizing the main common colours of our skin. I gave it a oriental theme to give it balance to the red used for the background. The symbol in the bottom right corner is the Japanese symbol for woman. 80cm x 100cm, acrylic medium on canvas.

Viking War Ship

I painted this for my dads birthday. He loves this sort of stuff so I hope he likes it.

Depicted from a 1995 song by Kylie Minogue and Nick Cave "Where the wild roses grow". Her name is Elisa Day but they called her the Wild Rose. This portrait is basically my interpretation of her, she is an extrordinarily beautiful woman with pale white skin and blood red rose lips - which becomes her death in the end.

Lovingly created from my own imagination, I think she turned out beautifully.
